I finally got around to updating this site again, to tell you
the truth I actually updated it LONG ago, I've just been quite
busy and never got around to uploading it. Unfortunately this
is not really a major update it's really just a site tweak to
keep things a bit more current. If you're wondering the following
is a list of the minor updates:
-I got rid of the HTML Frames.
-I cleaned out the dead links and added a few active ones.
-I tweaked the main page so it will come up better in search engines.
-I "erased" references to something that no longer exists, why?
Because it NEVER existed. …That's why.
-I updated my email address
-And maybe a few other things that I can't remember since most
of the work I did for this update was done too long ago.
And also before I go, be on the look out for the OFFICIAL Nowhere
Man DVD set coming out in late 2005!

After a recent online chat with Nowhere Man creator Larry Hertzog,
held by fans of the show, a handful of us were left in the room
when someone commented “Man, I can’t believe it’s
been 7 years since the Nowhere Man ended.” To which I responded
“7 Years! Has it been that long! It feels like just yesterday.”
It’s
kind of hard to believe how much time has passed and yet how such
a short lived show can stay relevant. I mean how many shows can
you name that’s been off the air for SEVEN YEARS, and the
fans STILL have the honor of holding a chat with the man who created,
wrote for, and produced it. And I’m talking about popular
shows with large amounts of mainstream success too, let alone shows
who were on a relative small network (at the time), and only lasted
for 25 episodes.
But
that’s the interesting thing about Nowhere Man, there’s
something very alluring about its concept and execution that really
strikes a chord with its fans. Nowhere Man was one of those shows
that you either got it or you didn’t. It’s a shame UPN
didn’t give it the chance it deserved, but maybe it’s
just as well; Nowhere Man was lucky enough to go out in its prime
and not be milked for more than it’s worth, as with shows
like Sliders, and The X-Files. As much as it pains me to say it,
it was in the style of the show for it to have lasted as long as
it did, and then be suddenly “erased” by network execs.
Shortly
after that chat I began work on this current version of the site
that you are now viewing. I decided to do a little research to refresh
my memory, so I decided to do the old rounds so to speak, and check
up on all of the Nowhere Man websites that I used to visit once
upon a time. Much to my disappointment I discovered that a good
deal of he websites I used to frequent have been “erased”
or are in a desperate need to be updated. Upon realization of that
fact I decided this next major update to my Nowhere Man site had
to be different. I realized that I wanted to create a place where
both people who are new to the show can come away with a greater
understanding of what it was all about, and at the same time have
a site that long time hardcore fans can find entertaining, and hopefully
find something they never seen before.
And
so “Qwert911’s Nowhere Man Page” evolved into
its current state as “TheNegatives.us.” After 7 years
I think this site has finally grown into the site I envisioned so
many years ago, when I first began work on it. And I hope you will
also find it to satisfactory, if you have any question or comments
about this site, or any of its content you can send me an e-mail
at Drew@TheNegatives.US.
