Justin Rocque was born on January 22, 1981. He was born in Queens, New York. Now, at the age of 22, he lives in Port St. Lucie, Floida. He moved down to Florida in 1999 with his mother to be with her side of the family and to try develop a better life for himself because when he was in New York, he was always "the shy guy" who got picked on in school and who spent most of his time at home with his old, outdated computers, reading text files on a small, 10inch viewable IBM monitor.
During the time of Justin's life, starting at the age of around 9 or so, his favorite TV show was Knight Rider. He liked, not only the car because it was sleek, black, and can talk, but he fell in love with the role of the character, Michael Knight. Some of Knight's objective's was to discreetly and inconspicuously help people who were in trouble, be it businesses from being robbed, people who were in danger of others, or solving cases of unsolved murders and missing people. But Knight's main objective, throughout the whole series, was to be that "One Man" who can make and was "Making A Difference." Deep in Justin's heart and soul, he realized he wanted to be a man like that. Throughout Justin's life, wherever he was, he always thought of the TV show and daydreamed about helping people who are in trouble and about places he was currently in that are in the process of being robbed. Justin always wanted those dreams to somehow, someday, become a reality. There has not been a time in Justin's life yet where something like that actually occurred.
Justin wasn't sure what he wanted to become when he grew up but watching that show made him realize he wanted to become a cop or private investigator. He started watching cop shows and private investigator shows and had an interest in them. He even told his guidance counselor he wanted to become a "policeman" back when he was around 9 or 10. He then had the same guidance counselor at another school and he said the same thing and the guidance counselor remembered what he said to her the last time. Even though Justin wanted to become a cop or PI, with the shyness and anti-socialism he had, he wasn't sure how and if he would be able to pull it off.
As Justin was in high school, he realized, even though he was still a little shy, he liked being around people and didn't really want to be alone anymore. During these years, he decided he really wanted to become a cop and maybe later on retire as a cop and start his own business as a PI.
In 1999, it was time for Justin to leave New York with his mother and move down to Florida, keeping the bad times and his father up there and away from him, but also leaving a best friend behind (and only friend during that time), whom to this day, he still keeps in touch with regularly. He also left a wonderful cousin (also known to Justin as his "Godmother") behind but she comes to visit quite a few times in the year and may one day move down to Florida.
Since Justin has been down in Florida for the past 4 years, most of the things he has been going through and experiencing were all good. He went to the police academy to try to sign up for the academy but he did not have a driver's license at the time. So, the officer there said for him to try the "Introduction to Private Investigation" course, which was taught by Brandon Perron. He took that course and it made Justin change his mind about becoming a cop and made him want to pursue a career as a Private Investigator. After Justin took that class, he took the other PI-related classes, along with Criminal Justice classes to get a degree in Criminal Justice with specialization in Private Investigation. Two years ago, Justin wanted to join the Public Defender's Office and become a Public Defense Investigator Intern. Since he did not have a car back then, he was unable to. With some struggling, he managed to get a car in April of last year. He finished all of the Criminal Justice classes and had only the Public Defender Intern course to take for credit. He took that in January of this year and has completed and passed the course. Justin enjoyed the job of being a PDI because he had the opportunity to see how the prison system worked, looked, and smelt. He also had a fun time interviewing the inmates who were mainly charged with, DUI's, possession of marijuana, batteries, and robberies. From what Justin has seen at the prison, he is going to make sure he does not end up in that place as an inmate because he will starve to death. There is no way he will let that prison food, if you can even call it food, near his mouth.
During the time he was working at the Public Defender's Office and taking the class at the building, he was offered a job as a Private Investigator in around March by a Senior Public Defender Intern who has been working at the office for two years, who has opened a Private Investigation Agency in Fort Pierce, Florida. Justin, along with two other classmates in the class, agreed to go along with him in process of opening the business and working for him as a PI. Justin thought that was one of the best things that ever happened to him in his life. He was so excited and glad everything in his life is starting to come together like he dreamed. Justin worked at the office as a Private Investigator intern helping his boss get the office in shape, computer, phone's, fax machine, filing, all set-up for the big day when they officially open the doors. He was also on a few surveillance training assignments, which were really full of excitement and adrenaline-filled thrills.
During the time of August, Justin thought long and hard for a week when he was off from work. He decided he wasn't totally ready for the commitment of being a private investigator yet. He still had some "growing up" to do, so to speak, before he wanted to dedicate his life and time as a PI. Also, he realized he would rather be a personal PC instructor because he knows way more about PC's then private investigation, even though he took all the available classes and had some on the job training. So, he feels more comfortable right now making this PC business than being a PI. He didn't completely throw the PI side of him away though. Later on, he may choose to do it again or maybe become a bodyguard. He sort of pictures himself more of a bodyguard type of guy anyway. Right now, he wants to finish up his 3 tests he has for his AS degree in Criminal Justice and then possibly start a new Computer Science degree and on his other time, work at a retail store like Office Depot, Staples, or Office Max in the mornings for a steady income until his business picks up, market his business, and in the evenings, go to peoples houses and help them with their PC's.
During the four years Justin was living in Florida, he used to work at Shits R' US until he got the job as a PI. It was the time he was working there that made him more outgoing and able to talk to individuals without the shyness he used to have which held him back all these years.
